A prize-winning essay written by Sir Paul McCartney in 1953 to celebrate Elizabeth II's coronation, in which he describes her as "our lovely young Queen", has just been made public, according to a report in the London Daily Telegraph (27/9). This reveals the former Beatle was an ardent monarchist as a 10 year old schoolboy.
