To commemorate and give thanks for the 60th anniversary of HM the Queen's accession to the throne and for The Queen's service to Australia and the Commonwealth, Christ Church St Laurence, George Street Sydney ( near Central Railway) will hold a Diamond Jubilee Evensong on Sunday 5 February 2012 at 6.30pm .
A champagne reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
The Queen has served as Queen of Australia and Head of the Commonwealth for 60 years.
Services on the Day will be as follows:
7 am Morning Prayer
7.30am Low Mass
9.00am Sung Eucharist
10.30am Solemn High Mass
6.30pm Diamond Jubilee Evensong, Benediction and Te Deum
