The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II is the forthcoming international celebration in 2012 marking the 60th anniversary of the accession of The Queen. More information may be found on the relevant section of this site.

ACM is asking that similar celebrations take place in Australia. Above all there should be a Diamond Jubilee Medal to honour Australians in all fields such as service, the arts, sports, bravery and so on.

Earlier this year we wrote to all federal, state, territory and opposition leaders calling on them to put in place appropriate celebrations.
Now the Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, Sentor Kate Lundy, has been tasked with deciding on a Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medial for next year.
