King of Greece in Thailand

HM King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, with their daughter HRH Princess Theodora opened the 2010 Round Square International Conference at the Regent’s School, Pattaya on 10 October 2010.

The local newspaper, Pattaya People, reported that Dr. Virachai Techavijit, the Chairman of Regent’s School and Mr. Michael Walton, the Principal, had welcomed VIP delegates and 730 students and educators from 22 countries worldwide. 

During the conference Their Majesties took part in community projects to help underprivileged people in the local Thai communities.

King Constantine, Queen Anne-Marie and Princess Theodora buried the two Time Capsules, containing cultural souvenirs, photos and messages from Conference attendees, at the Regent’s School. They also visited a number of charities, including the Pattaya Orphanage, the  School for the Blind and the Father Ray Day Center, as well as some of the attractions in Pattaya, including the Pattaya Floating Market.
