ACM is in the process of upgrading its website under the guidance of two wonderful, young experts who have volunteered to help us.
We hope to complete this upgrade within the month.
Apart from a greatly improved website, this will allow us to cater for your precise needs.
For example, some people want the full, detailed service.
Others would like to receive a weekly one page summary.
We are now planning to provide both.
Those who want the full service will be able to continue to receive it.
Those who just want a brief weekly summary will be able to receive just that.
Then they will be able to click on and read only those columns and releases they actually want to read.
We’ll announce details of the upgrade and then the new services soon.
We aim to inform you on anything and everything relevant to our mission.
We are trying to do that in the way you want to receive it-the web, in detail or in summary , in print and through our regular meetings across Australia, and of course our National Conference which we hold every year.
Apart from our newspaper, ACM plans to increase the information available in print form to those who prefer this.
We hope to have the newspaper out soon after the Annual Conference in Sydney on 26-28 August, 2005. We want to inform you about everything relating to our mission, and all about the work –and the finances- of ACM.
This information drive is all about fulfilling our mission in the best way we can.
As you know, the ACM mission is clear and precise. It is:
- TO PRESERVE, TO PROTECT AND TO DEFEND OUR HERITAGE:
- THE CONSTITUTIONAL SYSTEM OF OUR GREAT COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA
- THE ROLE OF OUR AUSTRALIAN CROWN IN IT, AND
- OUR AUSTRALIAN FLAG
Until next time,
David Flint
