Prince William and Catherine signed the visitors' book at Parliament House on Queen Victoria's writing table.
When The Queen-Empress gave her assent at Windsor to the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Bill in 1900, she gave to the Australian Parliament this writing table, as well as the pen and the inkstand she had used. They are on display in Old Parliament House
