You will not be surprised that the author was none other than Mr Phillip Adams, in The Weekend Australian Magazine, 7-8 January, 2006.
Mr Adams used to have two columns in this weekend newspaper, and people used to wonder why the editor extended that particular extravagance.
That was brought to an end, but not without readers having to see an additional one in the midweek edition of The Australian. This seems paticularly generous , when Mr Adams has, clearly, so little worthwhile to say.
