10 years on: still a crowned republic

On the tenth anniversary of the landslide defeat of the referendum, Young ACM spokesman Jai Martinkovits explains why Australians, especially the young, are not interested in the nation becoming a politicians' republic.  They much prefer Australia to remain, as their forefathers decided, an indissoluble Federal Commonwealth under the Crown.

And at the ACM function in Melbourne to commemorate the 10th Affirmation Day, Tony Abbott warmly  congratulated ACM on the development of the latest version of the ACM educational project, and the strategy to promote it as The Crowned Republic.
