The Governor of Tasmania,will next Tuesday make a quick trip from Copenhagen especially to meet The Queen, according to Ms Annabel Crabb, writing in The Sunday Age yesterday:

Ms Crabbe, who has beaten all the rest of the media in extracting this tantalising news, delicately describes Her Majesty as a woman whose status as monarch Mr Butler once campaigned to revoke! She begins:-
" The Queen has won an audience with Australia’s most flexible republican"
ACM continues to be encouraged and reassured by Mr Butler’s support for the existing constitutional system, evidenced by his affirmation of allegiance to our Sovereign.
